Kubota Garden in Seattle, WA needed a logo for their inaugural summer taiko event titled “Summer Thunder at Kubota Garden.” Drawing from the classic Japanese Inazuma motif and folklore of Goro Pika Don, we combined modern font styling with texture to create a Hanko (traditional Japanese stamp) effect.
